| Better Medicine Through Research |
To better understand and improve the treatment of pediatric neurological problems, our faculty participate in National Institutes of Health and foundation funded basic and clinical research projects. Active areas of research include closed-loop seizure prevention, brain machine interface, newborn brain monitoring, epileptogenesis, gene therapy, learning and language disorders, sleep disorders, epilepsy ketogenic diet therapy, nerve regeneration, and novel brain imaging research. Through these efforts, we continue to refine the latest techniques and technology, and to discover new neurodiagnostic methods and therapies for children. |
