The Division of Pediatric Neurology at Shands Children's Hospital is distinguished for treating the largest pediatric population with intractable epilepsy in Florida and in the United States. The pediatric epilepsy program provides leading-edge comprehensive therapies for pediatric patients with epilepsy. It also houses one of the largest surgery and ketogenic diet treatment programs for epilepsy in the United States. In addition, we offer comprehensive diagnosis and care for children with muscular dystrophy and other neuromuscular problems, learning and language disorders, sleep disorders, and developmental delay. |
